There are some scenes that are meant to be painted over and over and over again. This marsh in Tiverton RI is one of those places for me. I have rendered it several times and never tire of what it offers. For this series, I chose to experiment with the palette, perhaps influenced by visiting the website of Colorist, Casey Klahn, a pastelist with a daring and invigorating approach to color. It was pure fun to play with color and to revisit this comfortable place.
