Since a young age, I always dreamed of introducing myself as an artist. I am not quite sure exactly when I uttered the words, Karole Nicholson Artist. I do know that living up to the title challenges me everyday, yet having my art practice at the center of my life is a forever gift. I am grateful for the ways I have grown, the people I have met and the skills I have learned.

As someone who finds inspiration by communing with the local environment, either on a wooded path, by a roadside field or discovering a hidden marsh, it is clear to see that these are the scenes that spark my starting point at the easel. Representational and abstracted landscapes are my calling cards.
